Security Alert: Port-au-Prince (Haiti), Shots Fired and U.S. Mission Personnel Temporarily Restricted to U.S. Mission Compounds

Location:  15 Octobre, Tabarre, Port-au-Prince

Events:  Due to shots being fired in the vicinity of Belmart on 15 Octobre, Tabarre, all Mission personnel are temporarily restricted to the U.S. Mission compounds. 

Actions to take:

·        Avoid the area;

·        Avoid demonstrations and any large gatherings of people;

·        Do not attempt to drive through roadblocks; and

·        If you encounter a roadblock, turn around and get to a safe area.
