Country Chapter Meeting: Bogota, Colombia (March 15)

On March 15, 2023, at 0900 hours, the OSAC Bogota Chapter and the Consejo de Empresas Americanas (CEA) will hold a hybrid virtual/in-person meeting at the U.S. Embassy Bogota.  In honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, the meeting will consist of a panel discussion titled, “Women in Security”. 

The event will be opened by Chargé d'Affaires Francisco Palmieri and panelists will include the following individuals:

  • Milena Alicea – U.S. Embassy Bogota FBI Legal Attaché: Supervisory Special Agent Alicea reported to Bogota as the Legal Attaché in November of 2021. She has over 21 years of experience with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and has served in multiple field offices, the Behavioral Science Unit, Chief of the Safeguard Unit, and Chief of the National Security Covert Operations Unit. Prior to her career with the FBI, Mrs. Alicea was the Director of Children Services for a community health center and she is also a native of Colombia.
  • Aida Acosta – Security Coordinator – World Vision International: Strategic Security Coordinator with over 29 years’ experience monitoring and supporting the implementation of security policies to address dynamic security situations worldwide.
  • Jeimmy Castillo Izquierdo – Senior Offering Manager – Honeywell Latin America: Portfolio Manager and Strategic Marketing advisor specializing in project management with over 15 years’ experience in strategic leadership and technology sales.
